BB Cream

I’ve really got to share this with you….

Already seen this BB cream aka Blemish Balm cream being recommended in a Taiwanese variety Show called Nu Ren Wo Zhui Da…

Had finally seen it selling in Singapore like only a few months ago when blog shops had been selling them like hotcakes…….

Ok la… Finally got the cream. Not 1 but 4 different brands some more…… Waahhaaa… 2 were gotten by my sis from HK while the other 2 were gotten by a friend from Taiwan….

Some short introduction for those who don’t know what is BB cream:

BB Cream (also known as Blemish Balm) is a very popular product in Asia (Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore etc) since 2007. It doubles up as both a skincare and makeup product.BB Cream was first used by Korea stars after they receive facial treatments. It has healing properties and also protects their skin from the harmful sun and environment. It is such an amazing product that its popularity was soon widely known.

Most BB creams have numerous skincare properties combined in just 1 product - UV protection, anti-wrinkle, wrinkle improvement, whitening, moisturizing, skin regeneration, and oil control. In addition, they can also conceal pigmentations/discolorations like acne marks, freckles, and dark eye circles. They provide wonderful coverage without clogging pores.

(Most importantly, it really covers pores man! But please take note that most creams does not contain UV protection properties and always make sure that the packaging indicates that it UV protects; otherwise please wear your sunblock before apply BB cream.)

Coupled with skincare and makeup properties, BB cream greatly simplifies our tedious makeup process. Furthermore, we no longer have to worry about wearing foundation for long hours fearing what harmful effects foundation brings to our skin. With prolonged usage, BB cream can even improve our skin texture.BB cream only comes in one shade. After application, the cream will magically blend into your natural skin colour within seconds.

So what I do is that I do my normal skincare routine and apply my sunblock and let my face “rest” for awhile to ensure all has been absorbed into my face before apply BB cream.

Since I like my face to apply matt, I apply a thin layer of loose powder over it and then normal makeup…..

The best part is that my makeup doesn’t oxidize easily at all but since I’ve super oily face, my face will look shiny after a few hours and so I just blotted off with tissue paper…..

FYI, try not to use bloating papers that market is selling cause it actually cause your skin to secrete more sebum cause it’s the natural reaction for the skin to do so as it’s trying to protect itself from “drying out” and from dirt. Tsk tsk!! Bet you don’t know about it, right? So when you bloat more, the oily your skin is… Simple. So use tissue since it will not bloat out the whole layer of “oil” from your skin.

Dunno why I wanna blog about BB cream… Just wanna share with those who are reading moi blog…

BTW, try not to buy from the market i.e. John Little etc cause its way too expensive. Try blog shop instead…. You can get it like half the price that the market is selling……

What next?
